The joy of childhood
Part of what I strive for as a photographer is capturing the joy of childhood. I love to just follow children around and let them be themselves. These kiddos had a lot of fun with my box of props. I'll be posting more photos from this session because I just couldn't narrow it down!

On the Edge
A free spirit, Shannon wanted some photos that were more edgy and artistic. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures - Shannon is so photogenic and funny! She gave me an opportunity to stretch my style and do something totally different.
Senior Session
This was my first senior session with a motorcycle! It presented a fun challenge! I love non-traditional senior portraits. I really like to capture a senior's personality.

Catching a human tornado!
Michael was a bit of a challenge to photograph because he never stopped moving! He was a bundle of energy. He also had no interest in smiling for the camera or having his picture taken. But some of the cutest photos come from the uncooperative....the attitude, sly smile or look of wonder can make an irresistible photograph that a parent will cherish.

Gotta love those eyes!
My favorite thing about natural light photography is the highlights it brings out in the eyes! These cuties have the most beautiful eyes!
